The Association of Lawyers for Children, in association with Hanson Renouf, is hosting a conference entitled "Children, health and the law" on 3rd October 2014 in Jersey.   The programme features a number of eminent speakers and the topics should be of significant interest to anybody practising in children law:   Transition planning for children in care with continuing health needs Safeguarding in an acute setting The importance of GPs working with social services Recognising early signs of abuse and early intervention Should doctors know more about the law and lawyers more about medicine when considering non-accidental injury?
