Fostering YouTube Channel

You may be aware that Foster Care Fortnight has just drawn to a conclusion.  The campaign by The Fostering Network seeks to raise awareness and recruit foster carers, and there have been events held by local authorities across the county, including Leicester City Council and Leicestershire County Council, over the last two weeks.

One very helpful resource which came to our attention is a dedicated YouTube channel run by the Stoke City Council fostering team.  Anyone can log on to watch videos which give a wealth of information about the fostering process, including applications and assessments, training and education, ongoing support and interviews with current foster carers.
